Chocolate Chips Cookie Murder, cozy novel, light easy to read with extra mouth watering cookie recipes. Cookie-maker Hannah is juggling life as a single baker with an opinionated cat and a mother who is determined to set her up with someone in their small town in Minnesota. When her dairy delivery guy turns up dead, Hannah has to help her brother in law, who just made detective, look for clues and solve the case. I love this cozy mystery series for the great recipes and fun quirky characters.

All characters receive at least some development, with the 'mains' fully fleshed out.
I especially appreciated how Hannah is revealed through her bakery, and her recipes complete with directions.
I'll admit to having already read the 2nd book in ...more
