This was excellent. Fascinating, confronting, thought-provoking - it has me questioning if I should go back and revisit vegetarianism (particularly since the Spider is a vegetarian), and certainly has me thinking more about eating locally & ethically.
I'm glad I suffered through the Scott Brick narration (seriously, I hate that guy - but he's a "love to hate" at least), as I feel like I got more out of it by listening to it. ...more

This book sets out with a lofty plan - to examine how we, as omnivores, eat in today's reality and to explore the values which sit behind our relationship with food.
