What Members Thought
Murder at the Vicarage was Agatha Christie's first book featuring Miss Jane Marple, and you can definitely tell. I knew that Miss Marple was somewhat different in this book as compared to the later books, but it wasn't dramatic. She's bit more gossipy, but otherwise is her standard, highly observant self.
BTW, for those of us Americans unsure what a "vicar" is, it's the Anglican equivalent of the Catholic parish priest.
