I think PKD is the closest thing you your going to find to pulp genre from back in the day...like modern Chandler except both of them are now considered classics...i ate this book up...and i just love how Dick always finds a way to criticize our culture across the board, but in subtle ways too...always fun read, unfortunately i think this stuff will inevitably dumb down yr reading skills...i fear one day only to be able to read Chrichton or some other mass market swill like my old man...not to t
