I really enjoyed reading this book, it's different from the other insane books of PKD, this book is more like "The Man in the High Castle"... and it's about how life is after war,
I can't explain the feeling that this book gave me, It's just life...it's slice of life!
PKD said something like this about this book: the survivors don't live like beasts, they live like real human beings doing real human things...

PKD again masterfully weaves in numerous themes, events, and characters into a coherent whole right up until the last couple chapters. Unfortunately, the ending is so terrible. Not sure if that was his fault or some crappy editor's.
