This book is so beautiful and so powerful I feel like it has become a tiny part of my soul. In spite of the fact that Eleanor is kind of annoying I LOVED HER CHARACTER SO MUCH and oh my God Park is such a heartthrob!! Read this and your life will never be the same again. Period.
I really really really enjoyed this book. It gave me the feels like not many book do, but the ending really frustrated me, and I just really wish it was different.
I honestly felt like it was a struggle to finish this book. I expected way more out of it and I also expected to fly through it like I flew threw Attachments. With that being said, I gave it a 4 out of 5 star rating. The characters were just a little too flat for me and I couldn't keep reading it without getting bored and putting it down. I actually enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would.That's not to say I had low expectations, I just didn't think it would be my cup of tea. But in saying that, I really liked the uniqueness that was Eleanor & Park. This was quite different to what I usually read in terms of YA contemporary romance so I did like the change in reading material for myself. WAAAAAAH. WHAT IS THAT ENDING ABOUT??!!! OH MYGOSHHH. WHY IS IT LIKE THAT? - this is basically my reaction after finishing this book. I can't really accept the ending I reread the previous chapter, thinking that I just missed some detail or I haven't read it clearly but NO my mind went haywire just thinking of the possibilities to that ending.

This book is so beautiful and honest.
Rainbow Rowell presents us with these flawed characters much like ourselves, whilst clearly pointing out their faults, and makes us fall in love with them anyway.
Eleanor and Park's relationship was simply adorable and I will forever selfishly believe that those last words were 'I love you' because how could something so beautiful end any other way?
I recommend this to EVERYONE because everyone should make this book a part of their life and a part of their bo ...more

Bravo!!! This novel was simply excellent! Rowell wrote Eleanor and Park's characters with such humanity that they simply lept of the page and made a beeline to my heart. Some books are so special they become sacred and this is what this book has become for me. Like a slice of heaven or an oasis in a desert. There are not enough superlatives to express how happy I am this book came into my life. GO READ IT!

I enjoyed this book. I didn't like it in the beginning but it grew on me. I didn't really like the character of Eleanor, but I loved Park. Park is just amazing. I understood the character of Eleanor, but I feel as if she was a little overdone.
