What Members Thought
I didn’t like “People We Meet on Vacation” so I was skeptical about starting a book by Emily Henry again. But I’m so happy I decided to give this author another chance because I enjoyed “Book Lovers” a lot. There were so many relatable quotes about New York and life in general. You should put “Book Lovers” on your TBR if you haven’t already!
I reallllly wanted to love this book but I couldn’t! Nora and Charlie’s relationship was dull and I had a hard time connecting to any characters at all! It was written extremely well but it just fell flat for me.
I read this for the second time in 2025 and it was so much worse than I remembered. So bland. How can you write such a bad book about such an interesting topic lol The tropes are there because they are basically writing themselves. Anyway, I’m a 100% sure People we meet on vacation and Beach read were just a fluke.
