i have finally finished my reread of finale. took me the majority of june, but i finally finished it. i think it's safe to say i'm out of my slump.

i had so much fun returning to the world of caraval, as well as concluding the trilogy for the second time. it was entertaining seeing how all of the characters interact with one another.

i definitely recommend this series to anyone who is looking for an escape from reality. ...more

wow, i can’t believe i finished the caraval series. i already feel an ache in my chest for the magic and adventure i will no doubtedly miss. at times i did feel as though the book was straying a little far from its origins, but i was still on the edge of my seat as i read. the first book, caraval, will remain my favorite of the three, but finale was a worthwhile conclusion to a whirlwind story.
