i didn't expect to love this book as much as the first but i'm so glad i was wrong. like the first, it kept my attention from beginning to end but this book was definitely a lot darker and made me more emotional. i think i mostly read to escape reality but this one brought me back to the harsh truth of our world and how flawed our justice system is. this book did an excellent job in portraying the gray areas whe ...more

OMG?!?!?
Okay so first thing, this book was SOO good like extremely good. I have seen people saying how this book seems like just a filler, but I disagree. This book was very good and entertaining and had me on the edge of my seat. Also this book felt very important for the readers to understands pips character development. In conclusion, this book isn't 'just' a filler. Great sequel. This series has me going crazy.

I really very much enjoyed this book it was soo so good, although I do prefer the first book more, bc this one had a bit of a slower pace than the last. but that's my only criticism! other than that:

1. Ravi x Pip <333 all the way.. i wish they get married or something in the next book
2. I CANT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK
3. it was amazing like JACKSON ALWAYS SURPRISES ME WITH HER BOOKS... AND THIS IS NO EXCEPTION.

This was a really good book. It hooked me from start to finish and it kept me on my toes. The plot twist truly got me, but then again, I’m not great at guessing plot twists.

The development of Pip and Ravi’s relationship 🥹🥹🥹. So cute.

i really loved this book, but I found the beginning boring because we didn’t really know anything about Jamie being missing until later in the book so hence why i'm giving it a 4.5 but pip will always have a place in my heart. The plot
is so carefully constructed, and the characters are wonderfully believable. The dozens of twists mean that it is super fast- paced (the only downside is that you quite literally can't put it down!) and gripping from first to last page. ...more
