It’s been almost a year since I listened to the first book in this series, A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder and I’ve finally decided to continue on with this series. This is probably one of my favorite books I’ve read so far this year. I loved getting back to these characters, and the fictional town Holly Jackson has crafted in this series. So. I have a new 5 star read. And that is rare for me. This is only my third five star read of 2022 and it is already october soooo. Yeah. But anyway, I couldn't put this book down and I read it in three days which for me, considering I have a life to live, is fast. Devored the plot twists and adored the characters. oh. my gosh. 4.5 stars.
i have to be up in 6 hours for driver’s ed and my eyes are puffy from all the crying i’ve done but finishing this book was so worth it. the writing is so purposeful and enjoyable to read and the characters are developed and hold a special place in my heart (pip and ravi forever). i’m just… wow

I love this book but I got kind of annoyed when Pip started pushing everyone away when she was angry, but I guess i’ve never been in her situation.
I loved pip and ravi tho!! they were so cute together and I loved how patient ravi is toward pip
a lot of my friends said they cried at the end but I didn’t really find it that sad. I mean, yeah, it was sad and I felt bad for stanley but it didn’t really hit me. I quite liked what happened to jamie at the end as well
