I’m just supposed to move on to a novella next? How am I supposed to live, laugh, love in these conditions???
Obsessed, as always, with Carissa Broadbent’s balance of character work and plot-driven tension. Writing compelling fantasy work with vampires where the lore isn’t focused on those creatures is refreshing. Strong 4.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not sure what the hype about this book was. I found it lacking. Oraya was annoying and I didn’t feel the relationship between her and Raihn. I don’t think I’ll be getting the next book.
