What Members Thought
Kristin Hannah has a gift of writing such vivid scenes it feels like you are there in the story. The only word I have for this book and this story is simply stunning! A mesmerizing story of love loss and sacrifice during war time. It clearly helped me see the struggles people went through with characters that were relatable. If I could give this 10 stars I would!
5 Stars. All the way around. I had no idea I would love this book so much. I cried like a baby and I am not ashamed of it. Lol. But I loved it and will definitely read it again some day.
My heart is broken and healed all at the same time. Amazing story.

I did love this one, although I must say if the ending wasn’t as strong as it was I probably would’ve stuck with a 4. Both women gave a unique perspective and showed how women can fight and be strong in different ways. The message was moving and the end just showed even the strongest of us can feel like we aren’t strong enough but somewhere we are someone’s hero. I just loved the rebuilding relationships and the fight every single character gave
