Review - I loved Leonora Carling, and having read the Cynster series already, I loved the early impression we got of her brother, Jeremy Carling. Leonora was a very strong character and managed to immediately grip me with her certainty and willingness to get involved, but also to bow to people who wanted what was best for her. I preferred this book to Captain Jack's Woman. Although I loved the smuggling aspect of the previous one, I loved the introduction of the Bastion Club in this one. Finding

Laurens always has the best heroes and leading ladies. Their struggles to find love within interesting plots always make for a great read. Tristan and Leonora were no exception.
