This is a fun read by the author of The Martian. I listened to the book on Audible while traveling 15 hours for a wedding. It made the trip fun and I laughed aloud in some parts. This is sci fi at its best. Enough science to keep things grounded, but enough fiction to experience another impossible realm.

Ok, so I am new to the SiFi genre. Well, I have never read anything remotely SiFi. Project Hail Mary is a brilliant read that is paced well, with a smattering of science, which I loved. Ryland Grace is the sole survivor and humanity's only hope for survival. Waking up not knowing who he is, where he is or what he is supposed to be doing makes for a great story.
