I am simply delighted with this book. At first I thought it was going to be a typical cliché novel, but the author's writing is super engaging and makes you want to read this book nonstop (I kept reading until 4 am😵💫)... in addition, the protagonist's feelings are very good explored, and it was amazing that I felt a connection with her, because even though I am only 17, I felt like she would be a version of me in the future. I haven’t read any other books by Emily Henry yet so I didn’t know what to expect out of this book. I was really on the fence about this book at first. I know there had been so much hype about it, and now that i’ve finished it I can see why. The first half was a little slow for me, where Charlie and Nora were still getting acquainted and figuring things out, but by the time I got to the second half of this book I. could. not. put. it. down. holy cow. oh my god.
i love this book so fucking much. nora and charlie are meant for each other, they’re each other’s person. they read each other sooo well. i love the both of them and their nightmare brains.
and oh my god the BANTER? so fucking good, emily henry did not disappoint. there was banter from beginning to end, whether it be in real life, in an email, or in text. i love me a good banter u don’t understand… i ate that shit UP.

Every element in this book is perfect
It is cute and funny and romantic, but also is serious and heartwarming and relatable.
Nora Stephens is such a relatable character. She is written as an almost unlikable and difficult character, but that makes her all the more likable. She wants what she wants and likes what she likes. I have fallen in love with the way she writes, with every single characters, with the plot!
I truly recommend the book.
I relate myself with the two main characters, with their experience in life and how it makes you see things in reality with work and their families.
It is a book that has everything and I’m glad I have dedicated myself to read it! Hope you enjoye it as much as I have

probably my favorite emily henry book to date (although i haven’t read happy place yet, so idk). i know everyone’s particularly fond of beach read (which i also love), bust something about this being my first emily henry just made it magical.
