I definitely enjoyed this one more upon reread, and was far less confused this time around. The writing was beautiful and I was definitely swooning over Red and Blue's letters and eventual romance. Listen, it's sapphic enemies-to-lovers with time travel, what more information do you need? ...more

There are already so, so many reviews of this novella, so everything I say – while it is my opinion – has already been said. We know the writing's beautiful. Of course it is, it's written by poets. This is the prose I'd expect to find in an old book store, lovely and much too smart for me.

I felt so attached to characters I've barely met, but of course I do, letters are a very thorough exploration of the idea of 'self' and personalities. It also helps that Love Letters happen to be in

WOW!! i have absolutely no idea what happened in this book but i loved every minute of it!! the characters were both morally grey AND sapphic! like what more could i have asked for?!!??

++ if you can, i HIGHLY recommend reading this in audiobook format because it makes the point of views sm more clear (& blue’s narrator has one of the most seductive voices in existence, so you don’t want to miss that)

I have no words to express how much I loved this book, a book that will have a special place in my heart forever.
I devoured it.
Particularly, I loved the way love is portrayed as the only thing that trascends time, space and even death. I loved Blue and Red and their devotion to each other. I loved the universality of their wants and needs, for wanting to be seen, to be loved, is one of the most human acts of all.
Please, read this book if you haven't. Let it change your life forever.

How could someone think of this ? The plot is simply the most suprising and mind blowing one I ever read. It will take me a second if not a third read to fully grasp what happened here.

Intriguing, heartbreaking, devastating.

If you like tragic, star-crossed lovers, sci-fi, and Gideon the Ninth, boy do I have the book for you. It’s only 200 pages of speculative fiction, but it honestly ripped my heart in two.
