Now, as a wheelchair-using queer and trans person, I'm used to taking shit in 'inclusive' books. I'm used to people being told they're heroes for opening the door for me. And I've seen many a pat-on-the-head 'sure, sweetie' look.
What does this have to do with this shit show? Only everything. The basis of the romance is the Main Character saying racism is bad. Naturally, the Black girl she stood up for owes her her love, right? Because that's how romance works right?

I’ve missed these characters sooooo muchhhhh. Fr some of my favorites! I loved Leah in Simon’s book, so of course I loved her in her own. I love when Leah was panicking and Abby just goes ‘Leah stop.’
I wish I could be like Leah, but I’m not mean enough. It was cute, not better than Simon vs the homosapians but still good 😊

I remember not really liking this book but I can't remember why.
