oh man this book. this book was absolutely amazing and emotional and heartbreaking all at once. the characters and their relationships are so complex and so beautifully told… its crazy. Daisy is such a strong protagonist and even though i wanted to kick her at times, i loved her. each member of the band was so unique, so full of raw, complicated emotions, it was so so relatable. and the music !!! that was so exciting and i can’t wait for the TV show (they just finished wrapping it!!). Don't get me wrong I loved the Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and the way Taylor Jenkins Reid writes book, and I have a good amount of her books but I really do feel like this book was definitely overhyped on TikTok which led me to go into this book with big expectations that were just let down. I know Daisy didn't have it easy in her younger life but going after a married man and a father wasn't it for me especially since that person was Billy.
