już na samym początku wiedziałam, że to będzie 5 gwiazdek. nie ważne jaka była Evelyn, jaka była jej historia, co robiła a czego nie, sam STYL tej książki powodował, że chciałam czytać dalej i nie mogłam się oderwać. nigdy nie zapomnę o Evelyn Hugo i w mojej głowie ona żyła naprawde po prostu nie można niestety obejrzeć jej filmów:((CHYBA ŻADNEGO FILMU NIE CHCIAŁAM OBEJRZEC TAK BARDZO JAK MAŁE KOBIETKI Z EVELYN JAKO JO!! po skończeniu tej książki nie wiedziałam co mam ze sobą zrobić przez dobre ...more

evelyn hugo was such an interesting character to read about; i have to admit that i wasn’t that excited about reading it because i didn’t know how interesting i’d find it reading about her seven marriages. this book is so much more than just her marriages.

it shows her journey in hollywood and how much she had to compromise just to be successful. she had to change her surname to sound more white, dye her hair to look more white, and chang ...more

I love this book, I read it whenever I'm feeling down, and it cheers me right up again, then crushes my soul, then I reread. Its basically about the price of fame, and how Evelyn got to where she did, even if she didnt make a lot of choices. Its not like its the most well written book ever, but its really fun to read and good for when its a rainy day and you dont have the attention span for anything else.
