I'm part of a "book club" with my kids. It was one of my daughters turn to select the book we would all read. This was her selection.
I had no idea what to expect.
What I found was an exceptionally well written, honest, and vulnerable story of a childhood gone sideways. I really enjoyed listening to this book, and I feel like I gained even more from it through the audiobook format. Jennette's voice adds so much personality to the story, making it feel more immersive and engaging. The delivery truly enhances the experience.
