These are the questions at the crux of The Midnight Library, written by Matt Haig, who also wrote a memoir about his own battle with depression. Our book club read this and had many thought provoking conversations about the choices we make defining us as people, how we continuously evolve - while we also have felt at times or know people who seem stuck - and how everyone has regrets and what ways we cope with them.

Our groups wondered how easy it would be to slip into another life or not. We talked about the many lessons in the book about what it means to be happy, how interconnected we are, and what success is. There's a lot to consider, and no hard answers. But so much to imagine...
