From the Bookshelf of La Crescent Public Library…

[close] Our December library book club selection was a hit! All our book club members enjoyed this one and laughed so hard, some even out loud or with tears!

Many members said it resonated for them based on age, experience attending Catholic school, working with nuns, or raising boys. Others enjoyed it even if their experience was different, like learning the behind the scenes shenanigans of a Christmas pageant.

We did a fun round of book trivia for our members based on funny scenes from the story, and then dived into characters and plot points with our members. If you're looking for a funny, light-hearted holiday read, this was a very fun one!
