the reason i don’t give it five stars is because i didn’t think it was that much of a rivals to lovers romance -i LOVED the banter and their insane chemistry but i never personally saw the rivalry- and because what i noticed more in the book was the relationship between nora and libby. it was a quick and great summer read
this was cute but nora’s characterization made it only 4 stars for me. however charlie lastra >>>>> he had my feet kicking every time he spoke
I couldn’t get into book lovers at all! First of all the chemistry was absolute shit idc what anyone says they had zero actual chemistry, it felt more like the author wanted it to be a romance book so she included a mail protagonist who shows up every few chapters to keep the audience interested. It was more a sibling dynamic book but I feel if it had been targeted in such a way it wouldn’t have been this big.

my favourite EH book so far, absolutely gorgeous I loved every second of it, one more to go
