read this in about two days and loved it. especially loved the banter!! i could have done with about 50 pages less of the family angst though 🙃

it was…okay! i liked the last third a lot more than the rest of the book and the ending was actually my absolute ideal ending for this story and these characters - it was pretty fitting and realistic. overall though, it was mostly a disappointment. maybe i wouldn’t have had such a bad time with it if pwmov wasn’t in my top 5 favorite books of all time, but this just didn’t have the same spark as that one and my expectations were crazy high.
