I mostly listened to this book on audio....great read and i highly recommend it. I really liked the narrator, she made the story for me. I throughly enjoyed this plot. Hill is a new author for me and I'm already giving another one of his books a shot!

So much potential. Mulgrew's creepy voices especially. But a 17 part audio book? I don't even know how many times I fell asleep listening to this.
This story just went on & on & on.
In the end I didn't bother going back to re-listen to anything I missed when asleep & I'm more than alright with that. ...more

I really wanted to like this book. The concept sounded so good and promising.
But to me this book was anything but scary and thrilling and horryfying. It was very boring and unnecesarrily long and so much of the extra story did not matter to the outcome at all. It felt very anticlimactic.

A good premise but sometimes the back and forth through time and place was hard to follow.
