What Members Thought
So, sometimes I worry about my writing talents purely because I know what a good book is, but I don't understand what a great book is. I know that this is a book of Great Importance and etc, and it has an interesting story once you can get used to the strange heavy kind of stream-of-conscious style. I liked it, and would read it again, but I suppose I'm a bit too provincial and the Greatness is lost somewhere.

I know that this is a classic piece of literature, but I simply could not stand this book. Everything is archetypal, so every single little color, action, etc. in this book has a meaning. While I've had these archetypes drilled into my head since 8th grade, I did not like the fact that after every page, I had to go back through to figure out exactly what the author meant in order to understand the book.
