I've read a lot of complaints about this novel, both concerning the pace and the content. I think that's why it took me so long to finally decide to pick it up, and I have to say, I'm disappointed that it took me so long!

Many people seem to complain about the slow start and how it takes the first quarter of the book before they were really invested. That wasn't an issue for me at all; I started reading and didn't want to stop! There is a lot going on, which can be a little confusing at the begi

I love this book, this movie, and the entire series. I love Lisbeth, I love the stories and I hate the fact that Stieg Larsson died before his work was completed.

I really, really enjoyed this book. It was pacey, well written & with believable characters. Even though there are three stories in one I never got lost or had to flip backwards through the book to remind me of who was who. Really enjoyable - looking forward to the next in the series.

I had seen many references to this book but had my reservations, but eventually gave this book a go, a wopping book of 538 pages.

But wow what a surprise, fantastic.

The Prologue was a bit boring but it did set the scene, then you went into part 1, and it became a great page turner one of those rare books you can't get enough of and grudge every minute not reading.

I loved Mikael and as for Lisbeth, not a nice person, but there is something about her that as her character grows you start to gain sy

Surprisingly, I really liked this book. There has been so much hype that I was concerned that it would be a let-down. It did not have the immediate grab that others have mentioned but it was non-putdownable shortly after it began. Yes, the girl has a variety of issues which are speculated, much later in the book, to be Aspergers. That just makes everything that happens when others took advantage of her even more sickening...if that is possible.

When I read about Nazi's they are usually German, n

I found the first 200 or pages hard to get into, but once the background was set, I really got into this story.

This novel was a mystery that was not easily solved as it was very dynamic and multi-dimensional.
