What Members Thought

I started this book with trepidation as many people have said it is a tough read. I kept waiting for something obviously difficult or slow in the first 300 pages (the marker that had been commented on by others). And while the Swedish town names are difficult to trip over, as I have no idea how to pronounce them (they end up being butchered in my head to the tune of hamburgers and watermelon), and I will certainly agree that things picked up around page 300 and moved much more swiftly, I did not

I thought this was a pretty good book. I read this because it was available when my last travel book was finished... I don't usually like to read the "popular" book that's currently going around, but this one was ok and worth the time.
