3.5 stars. It's a long and sometimes tediously written book, but the story is interesting. I enjoyed the character development and the attention to detail in the world composition. I will be continuing the series. And to be fair...the rating would probably go up on a reread...the difficulty of this one was based primarily in trying to wrap my head around which of the many characters was which. ...more
