This was a slow starter for me, but the story improved for me once Patrick and his niece and nephew, (Maisie and Grant now aged 14 and 11) got to Austria on their way to Lake Como.

This story takes place 5 years after 'The Guncle'. This first book really should be read before reading this sequel. Knowing what happened 5 years ago will really enhance your enjoyment of this sequel. ...more

This is a fun story and a travel adventure with Patrick, age 50, and his niece and nephew, Maisey and Grant.
Patrick (Guncle) is also called GUP, gay uncle Patrick. Patrick took care of the children in the months after their mother died. They developed a close bond. This story takes place 5 years later. Maisey is now 14 and Grant is her younger brother.
Patrick decides to take Maisey and Grant to Europe prior to their dad’s upcoming second marriage in Italy. He wants to teach them about love and ...more

Such a wonderful sequel to The Guncle. It made me laugh and it tugged at my heartstrings. Just what I needed!!
Update: I just finished listening to the audiobook and it was such a delight!!!
