This is a re-read for me. I cannot get over the power of this book.
Of course Christmas is not the only time of year to make changes in our lives, but is there a better time to start? This is the perfect story of self-awareness. So often we do not see how our our actions and reactions affect others. Our friends and family are supposed to have that job, but they have a tendency to not tell us-or we don't listen. There is nothing new I can add to what have already been said about it. I was just thinking why it took me so long to finally decide to read it.
Charles Dickens had the gift of creating unforgettable characters, and Ebenezer Scrooge is definitely one of them.
It’s funny though that he wrote to pay off a debt!
