I read this at the end of last month and I didn't know what to expect of this book with all the hype pertaining to it.
However, it's worth the hype! I flew through it and I couldn't believe the ending! It's a book that'll stay with me. I thought quite unique.
I'm not a fan of smutty writing really, and there's a bit in here - I feel you read one smutty novel, you read them all - but this book was a real page turner, regardless of the smut.

A generous 4 star. I wish I was one of the first individuals to read ‘Verity’, I believe my expectations may had been set too high for the novel. I had heard so many great reviews that honestly, I felt a little letdown when I was done. That’s not to say ‘Verity’ wasn’t a worthy suspense novel, surely it was. Simply a warning to proceed with a beginner’s mind and then it will exceed all expectations!

Ehhh… not sure what that was… this shallow storyline seemed to exist in a vacuum in which not a damn soul, outside the main characters, could serve as a reference or witness. I will stick with Colleen Hoover’s romances.

Between 2-2.5. With all the hype, I expected more. I know this is a 'Thriller' but it is really an 'Erotic Thriller' with a heavy emphasis on "Erotic". Sometimes less is more. ...more
