This book is a collection of six short stories, five featuring Hercule Poirot and one Miss Marple. Despite the name, only the first story is Christmas themed. These stories are well-constructed and entertaining. My favorite by far is The Adventure of the Christmas Pudding, which I may re-read during the holiday season. I also enjoyed the longer stories, The Mystery of the Spanish Chest and The Under Dog. The other two that feature Poirot, Four-and-Twenty Blackbirds and The Dream, are very short ...more
