This is the second Alice Feeney book I have read and I must say she is a master (0r is the proper term mistress) of locked room mysteries. Daisy is the youngest sister of a dysfunctional family. Rose is the oldest, a veterinarian, Lily is unemployed and milking the (British) unemployment system and Daisy does volunteer work. Considering that Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None is one of my favorite mysteries of all time, I am so disappointed that I didn't enjoy this. I was excited to pick this up. I generally like Alice Feeney's work. But this was excruciating to get through. The pacing is a mess and I was bored most of the time. All the characters are unlikeable and selfish.
