I’m surprised that I’m giving this book 4 stars. For most of the book I was mad and was thinking it was going to be 2 stars but then the book came together for me and I was like What the hell! So yeah 4 stars. 😂😂😂

The first line of the story:

Olivia lands heavily on my stomach first thing, making high-pitched sounds like clockwork. If there’s anything better than a cat on the bed, I don’t know about it.

After the first twist, this made my stomach turn.

After the second twist:

I thought back on the trip to the mall to get some leggings with glitter. I wanted to throw the book in the bin.

At 64% of the story I felt like this: “I am running, rowing with horror.”

5 stars. 5 freaking stars! This is a perfect read for October. It's suspenseful, and spooky. It's OH SO CLEVER. I can't really say more without giving away any spoilers. Just read it -- if you're like me, you'll be guessing all over the place as to what is actually happening.
