This 5 star plus book was my Emily Henry favorite to date. Unlike her other books where it took me a while to start loving them, this was almost love at first sight. From the very first sentence to the very last, this book captivated and held me hostage until the very last word. These characters were some of the most believable and I wish they existed in real life because I would love to meet them and talk with them, eat with them, party with them. Cheesy, cliche, cute, easy to ready, typical romance palate cleanser. I don’t gravitate toward romance so I rarely rate them highly but I did enjoy this.

“UNCOMFORTABLE”

I’m against the grain on this one and I abandoned it after the constant text bantering or “whatever” happened in this book. I kept feeling like “let me try just one more chapter” and then I would kick myself when I finished the next chapter.

But that’s ok- it’s just not a book I would enjoy, but there are others that would. 😊
