I don‘t like romance novels. I don‘t like the tired tropes; the eye-rolling scenarios; the compressed timelines where people meet and fall in love and have major issues and bare their souls and work out all of their emotional problems, all in three weeks or less; the neat-and-tidy resolution. But y‘all—this book is FUNNY! It acknowledges and pokes fun of the tropes with a sly wink while dutifully following the script. Just, whoa. Loved this one THE MOST of Emily Henry's books.
Her Jane Austen references are hilarious and the witty banter with Nora and her sister, Nora and Charlie, Nora and herself... Nora and anyone who crossed her path, had me laughing out loud many times.

And yes, like Nora, I enjoy jumping to the back of a book to see how it ends before I start reading.
