I just loved this book! This was the right amount of romance and the right amount of comedy. And just the feel good book I needed at the moment. Fun book! Great beach read or pool read for this summer!

I’m giving this book 3 stars, only because there were a fair amount of cute moments that made me smile, but honestly this book was a chore for me to get through. It was most definitely too long! Poppy got on my nerves so many times!!!! Ugh! I wish Poppy and Alex would have just talked to each other about their feelings.

Disappointing read considering the hype about this book.

The female character was extremely unlikable and continually grated on my nerves. I found the character interactions and their travel to be annoying as well. Perhaps my being a GenXer rather than a Millenial played into my dislike of the book. It was written well, and I did finish the book rather than abandon it. I liked Beach Read, but not this novel.
