What Members Thought
3... maybe 3.5 stars. There were things that I loved about this book - the concept, the setting, some of the characters. There were things that just missed the mark - the Victorian house arc (it could've been omitted without any loss to the story while improving the pace of the story), the pace (it's a bit slow), and "the big secret" (it was alluded to multiple times so it wasn't a surprise to the reader - at least not this reader - when it was finally fully revealed).
