Wowie! This was a great adventure. I listened to this in audiobook format, and I think that is the best way to experience this story. I'm going to have to checkout the printed version of the book just to see how some of the sounds on the audiobook are represented in the printed version. ...more

Such a great book!! Highly recommend!
Edited to add:
I absolutely loved reading this book BUT - listening to it on Audible was FANTASTIC! The narrator does a fabulous job and really brings this story, the characters, and especially Rocky, to life!! Definitely worth every minute of the 16 hour play time. Oh - and listen to it at recorded speed - do not speed it up. You will lose so much of the wonderful experience!!!

Still enjoy Weir and all the real world science interwoven in all the fiction. Lots of chemical elements in this one as well as the space calculations we saw in the Martian.
