I really loved this book. Hannah life seems good, she has just married Owen and moved to Sausalito, CA. Owen has a daughter, Bailey who he adores. Hannah keeps trying to connect with Bailey, but she is having none of it. She wishes Hannah was not around. Then, Owen goes missing and their lives are turned upside down. Keeps you interested but a little predictable. Best part is it truly speaks to what parents should be willing to do for their children.
I would say this book was more suspenseful than a thriller. I listened to it and enjoyed the narration, but the story just didn't live up to the hype. I found it to be a solid 3, leaning towards a 3.5. I havent's read this author before, but I would read another book by Laura Dave to see if she has something just a little better.
