An enjoyable page turner. The windup? A tear jerker for some, but I was not engrossed enough for that sort of emotion, despite the beautiful love story. I felt there were alternatives and didn't relate to the reasoning and emotion behind the windup. ...more

This was a fast paced book with interesting characters. You can figure out the general reason why Owen disappeared early on, but the interesting part is finding out the details and the forging of new relationships.
