Thank you to Goodreads for finally letting me win a book! It has been years and years. This was entertaining. This isn't my usual "go to" kind of book, but I find them fun occasionally. This one surprised me as I didn't find it completely absurd or over the top...at least until the end. The longer it went on, the less I felt invested in it. Meh. I found the story totally unbelievable. I listened to the audio version during a long car trip and it held my interest well enough. Not sure why it was considered one of the best books of 2021.
