Vera runs Vera Wang’s World Famous Tea Shop. Nope, not a typo. That's the first hint at how quirky Vera WONG is. This book was so funny and sweet and even the mystery was great! A man is found dead in Vera's suffering tea shop and she doesn't trust the police to solve it. They take one look and thing it was an accident. But Vera is on the case. I truly enjoyed this book! While I didn't enjoy the author book I tried to read by this author, that may have been because I didn't realize it was book two in a series.

I suppose there were a few flaws in this book with characters being a bit one-sided, but I am choosing to focus on this: I listened to the audio version of this book when I had some stressful things going on in real life. This book brought me joy. There was something so great about the narration. I feel like there were lines I would probably have rolled my eyes at if I'd been reading it, but this narrator voiced Vera and friends so perfectly. It just worked. So I'm rounding up to 5 stars.
