Really Enjoyed this one! It took me a little more time to get into this one but once it picked up i feel in love! The emotions in this one are strong and I felt them all! Loved it even if the length of the book intimidated me! So worth it and can’t wait to read the next book! Always love Maas worlds!!

April 2022: Most of it I loved, parts of it I didn’t like. Overall, it was a great novel. Made me laugh and made me cry. Sarah’s dialogue is always top notch. I especially loved the Jelly Jubilee sections. Hilarious 😂

June 2024: WOW, WOW, just WOW. It was even better the second time. I love this story so much. The writing is so well done and I still love the JJ convos. The way all of the pack animals ran to help protect the human children and babies had me bawling 😭

This book slowly drew me in. It was weird to see cell phones alongside fairytale creatures. It is a slow burn. You had better be ready for the windup with this one. It took about halfway through for me to truly become invested. Be careful who you enjoy as your favorite character. Many may or may not die. ;)

All jokes aside, good book.

Second read-through, there was a fair amount I missed the first time. *Sigh* Now to read the next one before book 3 is released.

even though it starts off pretty slow, it is not boring… liked the story and characters… at some point it gets overwhelming emotionally but it makes the reading experience more enjoyable

I loved everything about this book. The world building and the character development is detailed without being overbearing and is exactly what I have come to enjoy about this authors work. For it being such a large story I remained engaged throughout.
