3 stars. Okay, so obviously I’m in the minority here but what else is new amiright?
Let’s start with the things I did like. The writing was good. I liked Hunt a lot, he was great and I was intrigued with his back story. Also, the ending to this was pretty solid and is the reason I will read the next book when it comes out. Some of the side characters were pretty interesting. The first quarter of the book was hard to grasp onto purely for the overload of information. However as the story gained momentum and the characters started to tether, I really started to enjoy what a unique and dynamic adventure this became!
Could have enjoyed a bit more sassy time with lead characters but let’s see what the second books brings…

In the beginning it was a slow start and I was ready to give up on it. There were so many characters to learn and figure out how they fit in. That frustrates me when there are to many at once, but I stuck with it and Im glad I did because it really captured my interest and made me cry in spots and get angry in others. There were twists and turns that I didnt see coming, some that kept me guessing well now whats going to happen?
I am moving onto book 2 and hopefully that will be just as good.
