The third installment of the Talon saga does not disappoint. After the dragons and Garrett part ways, there is more work to do, and more hidden alliances to discover. There is also more of Dante in this book as he moves up the ranks of Talon and finds himself in charge of something he never thought he would see. An army of dragons...

Shelves: audiobook-read, fantasy

This is a good novel for a certain age group but as an adult, I'm a bit underwhelmed by the melodramatic romance and dragon drama (lmao). I spent way too much time rolling my eyes.

But I like/love the whole play on St George and dragons. Taking a modern spin on all the world's dragon lore...yes! But the characters are so cringey to me...oh well, can't knock it for its intended audience - it's not watered down and is just the right frequency for pre-teens.

I may try to finish the series but IDK... ...more
