What Members Thought
It isn't often I read a book where the hero becomes the villain and back to the hero. But that happened here with the Evil Queen (though she is called the 'Wicked' Queen, which bothered me more than it should have).
I really like that we get some back story on her - Grimhelda- and we understand why she changed the was that she did through the story, which is never told in any other version. I felt bad for her that her father was so cruel to her, as if losing her mother wasn't bad enough but he ha ...more

Re-read I would likely only give this a 3 second time around.
Retelling of Snow White. This story tells of how the Queen became so wicked to Snow White. Her need for vanity and to be recognized after her husbands death really ruled her. Overall good story.
