I love books with great first lines. Well, this book had a last line that blew me away. No pun intended! I was so surprised that I grasped when I read it. I also enjoyed the descriptions of the characters and their surroundings.The details were just right for the story. Good Suspense! I'm looking forward on reading the alphabet with the author. :)

This a reread for me, but it was like I was reading it for the first time. I knew some big details but I didn't remember the finer points of this and I was able to enjoy it immensely. I love the narrator and her dry delivery of Kinsey. It fits her so well. I really enjoyed the story and getting to know her all over again, but I have to say that the book wrapped up rather quickly. After all the build up I felt let down with the way it wrapped up.

This was my first Sue Grafton book. I really enjoyed it and will be reading more. My cousin keeps asking if I have read any of this series so, yes Nancy I have. Now I will be at the library looking for "B".
