4.5 stars! (but so close to 5 that I´m marking 5 instead of 4, since yet again, I need that 1/2 star).
This is a great fantasy/paranormal/adventure book, with a great storyline and very interesting characters. It does end in a bit of a cliffhanger so I´m glad I´m reading this when both books are out and I don´t have to wait to start the next one :)
I listened to the audio version and it was REALLY good! 6 different narrators for 6 different characters.

Inej was my favourite and Nina was a badass
I love that they were all seen as misfits but that thy made such an amazing team and so easily adaptable to new situations if anything went wrong

When I started reading “Six of Crows” by Leigh Bardugo, I was really excited to explore the intricate world she created and had high hopes due to its widespread acclaim. Overall, I found the characters and their relationships to be interesting. The conflicts between certain characters added a lot of depth to the story, keeping me engaged in their interactions.

I loved Nina and Inej, who really stood out to me. They had notable flaws, growth, and complexity throughout the narrative that I found ve When I started reading “Six of Crows” by Leigh Bardugo, I was really excited to explore the intricate world she created and had high hopes due to its widespread acclaim. Overall, I found the characters and their relationships to be interesting. The conflicts between certain characters added a lot of depth to the story, keeping me engaged in their interactions.

I loved Nina and Inej, who really stood out to me. They had notable flaws, growth, and complexity throughout the narrative that I found very compelling. Their development was a strong aspect, as both characters went through meaningful changes that resonated within the story.

While I did like the book, I didn’t feel completely drawn in or profoundly moved by it. I still plan on reading the sequel to see the conclusion of the duology, but this book didn’t evoke an immediate sense of urgency to do so. One challenge for me was that I didn’t feel fully immersed in the story or the heist revolving around the narrative. Although there were parts that caught my attention, it didn’t hold me as much as I hoped. It could just be a matter of personal preference, but I was hoping for a more gripping and captivating read.

Despite the ending leaving me on a bit of a cliffhanger, I found it somewhat lacking overall. Some parts felt rushed, while others felt a bit forced. The pacing of the story was a bit inconsistent, switching between slower moments—possibly due to the multiple viewpoints—and fast-paced, action-packed sequences. It could be a bit overwhelming to keep up with at times.

Some members of the main group of the “six” lacked sufficient development or relied too heavily on another character for their relevance in the story. Without these key characters, the book might have felt a hit shallow and uninspired. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel like the book quite lived up to the hype surrounding it. This was especially disappointing considering how much I have enjoyed Leigh Bardugo’s other works.

In the end, while “Six of Crows” has its strengths in character growth and engaging relationships, it didn’t fully meet my expectations. The uneven pacing and underdeveloped characters took away from my overall enjoyment. Nevertheless, I am curious to see how the story continues in the sequel, and I hope that it addresses some of the issues I have encountered.

So it was good but not as good as I was expecting because of all the hype. It took a long time for any action to happen and some things that happened I thought were predictable. But I liked it and the characters and want to read the next one.

Nice addition to the Grishaverse. It started a little slow, but it was good to get to know these characters and their backgrounds thorougly. For their young age, the characters sure had a lot of life experience. I guess Nina is my favorite so far.
